Cub Scout Pack 889 is located within the Tall Timbers District of the Sam Houston Area Council. Our Pack meetings are held at Christ Church United Methodist, which is next to The Woodlands High School, at 6363 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas, 77381.
Cub Scout Pack 889 runs entirely by a group of adult volunteers who oversee the operations of the Pack. There are many positions that are available and it is not hard to do, just takes a little commitment and a lot of enthusiasm to help out!
Our Committee meets once a month, about a week prior to the scheduled Pack meetings. Each Den is expected to have at least 1 representative at the Committee Meeting, but everyone is invited! Check the Calendar for our next Committee meeting date.
Our Pack currently has an enrollment of approximately 70 registered Scouts. We host or participate in a full, year-round schedule of fun activities such as Waterguns & Watermelons, Rally Night, Camping, Holiday Caroling, Pinewood Derby, Scout Court of Honor/Blue & Gold, Graduation, Summer Day Camp, and much more!
